Screen Printing is the most common style in decorating apparel you will see. It is a printing technique where a framed with screen mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate. The ink is transferred through the screen with a squeegee blade that moves the ink across the screen pushing the ink through the open areas of the screen mesh. One ink color is printed at a time. So if you have a 3 color design, a screen would be created for each color of the design.

Meaning….the consumer is more likely to purchase a product that is branded over having the generic shirt tags. The most common and cost affective way is screen printed or heat transferred neck tags. Well…. they really aren’t tags, more of a label. Garments come with 1-2 tags already sewn into the inner neck seam. These existing tags are removed via tear away, cutting or removing the stitching.
