Our Story
It Started With Friendship
Nuklehed didn’t start in a boardroom.
It started with a group of friends who worked hard all week and made the most of every weekend.
Years ago, after losing one of our best friends in a motorcycle accident, we wanted a way to honor him. We printed a small run of hoodies that said Langford Mafia, featuring artwork another friend had drawn. Those hoodies became more than clothing—they represented friendship, loyalty, and a group of people who always had each other’s backs.
Long before social media, we built a community simply by spending time together. Riding, camping, working, laughing, and dreaming up ideas that most people would probably call a little crazy.
Over the years, someone would always say something funny and another friend would reply,
“You should put that on a shirt.”
Eventually we decided…
Why not?
Not because we wanted to start another clothing company.
Because we wanted to build a community where everyone felt like they belonged.
What Does "Nuklehed" Mean?
To us, being a Nuklehed isn’t about doing something reckless.
It’s about enjoying life.
It’s the kind of fun that happens when good friends get together with no agenda except making memories.
Like bolting a recliner to the hood of a car and pulling it behind a snowmobile just to see if it could be done.
Were those our smartest ideas?
Probably not.
Were they unforgettable?
Absolutely.
Being a Nuklehed means working hard, laughing often, getting outside, trying new things, and making the most of the people around you.
Life’s too short to sit inside worrying about what everyone else thinks.
